The title leads one to question, what is My BOBO?

Well for international fans of Korra who aren’t conversant with pidgin English, Bobo simply means a strapping young male who is at the peak of his youth. The saying say ‘Bobo’ is usually attributed to handsome young men and is commonlly used as a means of flattery as seen in this example;

Boyfriend: [walks out of the dresser in a clean new shirt]

Girlfriend: “wow, check out MY BOBO”

” I wrote this song for every girl has ever had deep feelings for a guy but lacked the effrontery to come clean with her feelings. In most African countries, it is very UN-lady like to be the first person to tell a boy you like him, this song is meant to ease you into the process.” Korra obidi said in a recent interview.
